United Industrial Chemical Oxidizers (UNICO) was created in West Allis, WI during the summer of 1967. It began in a small, rented building and has grown into a large, custom manufacturing plant located in New Berlin, WI. UNICO has now served the tool and die fabricating and manufacturing industries for over 50 years.

We specialize in black oxide and stainless steel black oxide. We are dedicated to achieving the highest quality standards for our customers while meeting their urgent delivery requirements.

The original founders of UNICO were Clarence D., Eileen J. and Douglas A. Sleaford. Today, Douglas is the sole owner and President.

UNICO’s hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
